UKMars robot

This is our main robot.  It has been designed by the group  "UK Micromouse and Robotics Society
It is suitable for the 3 micromouse  disciplines:

  • Wall following and maze solving,
  • Line Following
  • Drag Racing (although it's a bit slow at present)

There are 8 completed line follower robots, and a further 7 under construction. .

Robot 8 read for Drag racing!

Wham! robot

These robots have large 60mm wheels (good for drag race), and were originally designed by Bernard Grabowski.
They originallyhad a complex, surface - mount circuit board with a Picaxe processor.
Their line sensor was based on the Hamamatsu sensor with 4 emitter LEDs and a single receiver.

The robot has been converted to Pi Pico operation,
by removing the circuit board and sensors and adding a motor driver and analogue line sensor.
They have large (60mm) wheels which makes them good at fast events, like Drag Racing:

PicOne robot

These robots are really slow and old, and are best used to learn maze solving techniques.
They have two Picaxe processors, and must be programmed in Basic.
